Lets face it, there are a LOT of solar companies around and it would seem that every solar company claims to be the best. How does a consumer know who to believe or which company to trust? Thankfully, there is a way to separate the good from the bad. The Clean Energy Council recently launched a new initiative to reward ethical good practice solar companies. This initiative is called the Clean Energy Council Approved Retailer accreditation. This is different to being a CEC member or a CEC licensed installer. The Clean Energy Council Approved Retailer Code of Conduct is a way for solar businesses to show their commitment to responsible sales and marketing activities and solar industry best practice. Authorised by the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC), the code aims to lift the bar higher than the minimum requirements set by the Government to bring about a better standard of service within the solar industry. You can see the full list of Clean Energy Council Approved Retailers here. Coffs Solar Energy is the only CEC Approved Solar Retailer on the Mid-North Coast & Northern Rivers of NSW.
Coffs Solar Energy is your local solar company. We are a bricks and mortar business with a shop-front and showroom operating 8.30am to 5.00pm Monday to Friday. Visit our showroom and speak with one of our in-house consultants who will guide you on the most appropriate products and solutions for your next solar project.
The main difference between most other solar retail companies and us is the fact that we employ CEC accredited installers. Most solar companies will subcontract out the solar installation to whichever CEC accredited solar installer charges the least. There is no doubting that if a solar installation is sub-contracted out to an individual not employed directly by the company, that quality control is dramatically reduced. We stand by the quality of our workmanship, and we are so certain that we do not cut corners that we offer an unrivalled five years installation warranty!
Our in house design team are CEC certified and accredited. Our solar designers follow strict CEC solar design guidelines when designing solar systems to match daytime energy demands. Our design service includes graphic illustrations to scale which give you a visual impression of how a solar system will look on the roof of your property.
